I didn’t think I’d get this upset but Acchan was the first person I warmed to. She was the face of AKB48 for me and so many other people, and seeing them without her is still something I find impossible to get my head around.
But to me, AKB48 wasn’t just Maeda, so I will continue to support them, and I will always follow Maeda wherever she chooses to go… and she can go anywhere.

There were some amazing reactions towards the end when Yuki couldn’t believe her name still hadn’t been called.
Yokoyama Yui’s is a treat! Haha she’s a bit of a wreck but you can tell she was just completely overwhelmed. Itano’s speech is a shocker too, and her overall reaction.
And Sashihara Rino’s speech is amazing too. And of course Umechan was so graceful and gorgeous. :D
I had such a great time watching a subbed version of the 22nd Single Senbatsu Elections and couldn’t stop myself from going AKB-crazy! It’s truly an obsession, and I found a new love for Sashihara Rino, and solidified my love for my two oshimen, Umeda Ayaka and Mariko Shinoda.
